Be safe in the park! 

The project was part of bigger project of urban interventions in town of Trencín (Slovakia). The park is now considered a dark scary place because of its lack of light. It is however the shortest way from the station to the town centre and because of its character people prefer to take the longer walk around.

Our design is using easily affordable plastic IKEA boxes that combined with a light source create very soft but strong light. The design was considered at the meeting of the city council, that later picked our second intervention (the green wall) for realisation.

The project was published and exhibited as a part of Trencin City Interventions project in 2013.
